Varsity Cheer tryouts & clinic will be held next week for students entering 10th-12th grade for the 2023-2024 school year! In order to participate in tryouts, a waiver must be completed by tomorrow, April 6. After completing the waiver you will also need to join the cheer group me for additional tryout information. All eStem schools will be closed Wednesday, April 05th due to potential severe weather. This day will be considered an Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) Day. Students will be expected to complete their assignments, and your child’s teacher(s) and/or school Director can provide further information regarding instruction for AMI days. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions.

Good evening Mets Nation! Many of our students and families were impacted in one way or another following last week's tornadoes. Effective now until Friday, April 14th, we will be collecting specific items at all five campuses to help those in need. Let's all come together to show our support. See the flyer for items you can donate to help our fellow Mets get back on their feet. We appreciate your kindness and generosity.

Good afternoon DTJH Families, Teachers and staff are excited to see you all come out tonight for our Title I Family Night from 5:00-6:30pm! Don't forget about the food trucks, information booths, prizes, and...a PHOTO BOOTH! Make sure your student signs in and votes for which administrator they'd like to see pied in the face! Remember, we will have a place for you to drop off any donation items to help those families in need.

We will be collecting the items listed to help those who were affected by the tornado: •Water •Non-perishable items (gold fish, cheez-it, canned goods, etc.) •Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, etc.) Thank you for your cooperation in helping those in need. 💙💛

Congratulations to East Village Junior High and Downtown Junior High for being selected as recipients of the 2022 Lead the Way (PLTW) grant from the Arkansas Department of Education funded by Walton Family Foundation. Project Lead The Way is a hands-on, project-based middle school curriculum that challenges students to solve real-world problems. It is a strong foundation for further STEM learning in high school and beyond. The schools receiving this grant will employ PLTW Gateway Curriculum in four specific courses: 7th Grade: 1. Design and modeling 2. Medical detectives 8th Grade: 1. Automation and robotics 2. Flight and space We look forward to seeing the positive impact this will have on our students.
