Important Update from the School Board President.
Good morning!
The 2022-2023 school year is coming to a close! Nurse Jessie and Ms. Brandy are grateful to have spent another year in helping the Downtown Elementary students stay healthy. Please remember to pick up your student’s medication, asthma inhalers, and epi-pens by May 26th. Anything left behind after May 26th, will be properly disposed of.

Many students received school-issued laptops earlier in the year. The time has come for laptop collections. Please bring all school issued laptops and charging cords back for reconciliation. Students should turn in laptops to their homeroom teacher.
If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Remember, Friday is a make-up day for students who missed an exam.

Happening this week!
Students attending a public school in Arkansas who are eligible for free or reduced-priced school meals by May 31, 2023 are eligible to receive the Summer 2023 P-EBT benefit, a one-time payment of $120.00
If you have not previously applied for benefits, you must submit a Free/Reduced Meal Application by May 31, 2023. Online applications are available at estemschools.org.

Here are a couple of reminders:
-ALL students are required to wear their Field Day shirts--these will be delivered to their homeroom teachers first thing on Friday morning.
-NO backpacks
-NO water balloons/water guns
-NO outside food can be delivered/dropped off at the park
