EVE families and friends, it has been another great week and we are excited for the holiday break. We are thankful for all you do to help support the students and staff at EVE. Students at EVE have been taking their iReady Middle of the Year Reading and Math assessments this week and we are extremely excited at the amount of growth that has been made. Students who grew 10 points or more were able to receive special prizes. We gave out so many prizes this week that we had to run to the store TWICE! Great job boys and girls. Your hard work is paying off. We also thank our amazing teachers for working so hard to deliver high quality instruction each and every day. #fosteringaspiritofexcellence
Students in Mr. Huddleston's class are diving into the art of realistic portraits, showcasing their creativity by selecting their own subjects. Today, they are focused on perfecting their shading techniques, adding depth and dimension to bring their portraits to life.
While this is is happening at DTJH, we have exciting activities happening on all of our campuses. Remember to check our Events Calendar on our website for details specific to your child’s school.
DTJH Familes, this is a reminder that iReady Diagnostic exams are tomorrow and Wednesday.
This is the opportunity for students to show how much they have grown from the beginning of the year to now.
How can parents help?
-Make sure your student gets a good night's sleep.

-Motivate them to do their best.

The East Village Elementary Chess Team continues to thrive with fierce competition and an influx of new members. In recent tournaments, the team has consistently performed well, securing 2nd place in the August competition, 3rd place in September, and 3rd place again in the November tournament.
Additionally , several students have excelled individually. Nasir Hart (7th grade) earned 2nd place in the highly competitive division while Princeton Sebree (5th grade) placed 2nd in Beginner 1. Nasir also earned 3rd place in the August tournament, further showcasing their skill and dedication.
DTJH Families, don't forget about Family Night on Tuesday, November 12th from 5:00-7:00pm.
