We are excited to celebrate our faculty & staff who go above and beyond for our students. This week, we are highlighting a classroom teacher from East Village Elementary. Ms. Shatavia Peoples was nominated by a parent for all that she does for her students each day.
This parent said, "Mrs. Peoples is guiding them through unexpected hard moments with kindness and love and keeping them on task academically." She creates an environment where students want to come to school each day and even when students have struggles, Mrs. Peoples ensures they feel loved and comfortable. The students in her class are a community of helpers, and this is truly a testament to the classroom culture Mrs. Peoples has created.
